Hi fellow Richmonder!  Yes, I will be posting some pictures (following this post) that I took of my family at Thanksgiving.  I took all of these with the Canon 50mm F1.4.  I still consider myself a beginner photographer who is always on Manual mode so I may not be able to give the 50mm f1.4 the justice it deserves but I will try! :) Hopefully Tumblr doesn’t distort the photo quality too badly (like Facebook does)!

I personally have no idea how the 1.8 is so I can’t give you a good comparison but I have only heard great things about that lens as well.  Please let message me if you need more samples! 

By the way, I checked out your blog and your pictures are really great!  Tons better than mine!
