Turkey Stock
I made my first batch of homemade stock EVER a few days ago!  I followed this turkey stock recipe.  It seemed easy enough and I had a lot of these ingredients from my Thanksgiving dinner so it was a pretty easy thing to do.  This recipe for stock took about 4 hours to finish and it sure was a tasty stock!  I will now know what to do with leftover chicken carcasses in the future.  I think the one thing I will take away from this first time experience is to not play with or stir the stock while its cooking (I did a lot of this, I was curious).  This made the stock rather cloudy, it’s really not a problem for me but I think the next batches that I make will look better.  But the most important thing is that it is tasty and easy.  Hopefully I won’t feel the need to buy pre-made stock anytime soon since I have three containers of stock in the freezer for future use.
I think I will make a turkey noodle soup and this will make a great base. Turkey Stock
