I am so proud of this photo even if it’s not the best.  Did anyone else catch Venus and Jupiter up in the sky the past few days?  They have been coming together the past few months and finally creeped past each other on Tuesday.  They are now orbiting away from each other again. 

FYI, Venus is the brighter one on the right and Jupiter is the “smaller” one on the left.  They shine so brightly in the sky and I am loving that we can see it so well with our naked eyes right now.  It’s beautiful!  I wish I was able to go out to the middle of a field or something and take a 30 minute long exposure shot of the sky and watch the path of the stars and the path of these two planets.  That would be pretty awesome, but it’s a work night and I’m too scared to go out into a dark field. lol. 

If you get a chance, go outside, stare up at the sky and enjoy the view while they are still here together.  It really reminds you of how great and awesome this universe is and reminds you of how little you are in this world.  Puts life back into perspective, at least for the rest of the night. ;)
